Solved coprophogia problem

Bought this at the suggestion of Ward at Sojourner Farms as an enzyme to increase food absorption. As a bonus it has solved one of the dogs caprophagia that he's had since birth (7 years) - at least 75% of the time which is more than I've been able to achieve with any other remedy I've tried. What was Oxbow thinking?

My guinea pig LOVED the old Oxbow GTN-50C Vitamin C tablets but she HATES this new formula. I can't get her to eat them and so am worried that her health might suffer. If Oxbow wanted to changed their formula for the heck of it they should have just added this "new" version as an additional product and still produced their old version. Now I have to shop around for a vitamin with another manufacturer and hopefully find another vitamin C product that she can tolerate. I'm really disappointed in Oxbow. Shame on them.More detail ...

DON'T BUY THIS JUNK PRODUCT! The company knows it and DOESN'T CARE!

My children have had a succession of hamsters over the last year. We bought a Super Pet Silent Spinner for $10. Within 7 weeks the plastic axel cracked beyond repair. Call us stupid or call us sleep-deprived we returned to the store and purchased another wheel and another at six week intervals until one day my husband remarked "How many of these junky things have we bought?!" We checked our receipts and counted no less than SIX spinners. Each one had cracked in the same place. I wrote a letter to the company's customer service manager. No response. Two weeks later I called the company and spoke with their customer service manager. She said she'd get back to me by the end of the day. No response. Two weeks later I asked to contact the owner. I got the run around. This is a matter for Consumer Reports. This company clearly knows this product is trash and is perpetrating fraud on the public. I have a vintage 1950s fan which has probably made several trillion rotations in its lifetime without a crack. Our Krups coffee grinder is still going strong after 17 years of daily use. What I'm trying to say is: the technology of spinning is not exactly new or difficult to achieve. Ultimately this is a matter of product design the integrity of materials -- and the LACK of integrity of business owners. DO SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. Prozyme Improved Senior Dog's Life

I have a Shepherd/Labrador mix who will be 15 years old in May 2009. In his prime he weighed 72 lbs. At his most recent vet check in October 2008 he had dropped to 51 lbs. He had also picked up three habits he had never displayed in his entire life - begging at the table rooting through the trash and eating his own feces.



The vet explained that although his senior bloodwork was normal his body was not processing the nutrients in his food so he was looking for sustenance. To put it bluntly - he was starving himself to death. My vet recommended Prozyme.
